Maintenance Technician – Green Bay Area
Toonen Companies Inc., a regional leader in the development, construction, and management of multi-family apartment communities, is seeking to fill a Maintenance position in the Green Bay area.

Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance in apartments, hallways, buildings, and common areas.
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related repairs.
- Repair and replace appliances as needed.
- Conduct minor plaster, paint, carpentry, and cabinetry repairs.
- Maintain garage doors, fences, siding, and roofs.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests.
- Take initiative to resolve maintenance issues and follow through with residents.
- Assist with resident events during and after business hours.
- Participate in rotating after-hours on-call coverage (approximately one week every four weeks).
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to operate a company maintenance van during work and on-call hours.
On-Call Bonus & Premium Pay:
- $250 for regular on-call weeks
- $300 for holiday on-call weeks
- Overtime pay for on-call hours during regular weeks
- Double-time pay for on-call hours during holiday weeks

Lead Maintenance Technician – Green Bay & Fox Valley Areas
Join Toonen Companies, a regional leader in multi-family property management and apartment community development, as our Lead Maintenance Technician serving the Green Bay and Fox Valley areas.
We’re looking for a hands-on professional who can lead, train, and support maintenance technicians across several properties — while still rolling up their sleeves to solve problems and keep our communities running smoothly.
This is a career-growth opportunity for an experienced maintenance technician ready to take on a leadership role in a company that values teamwork, craftsmanship, and integrity.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform and oversee general apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Lead and train maintenance staff to ensure consistent quality and safety standards across properties.
- Evaluate maintenance performance and assist property managers in identifying training needs or skill gaps.
- Step in for coverage when technicians are out or additional help is needed.
- Maintain and repair building systems (garages, doors, siding, fences, roofs, etc.).
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident maintenance requests.
- Support resident and community events as needed.
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately one week every four weeks).
- Work collaboratively with property managers and maintenance teams to uphold Toonen’s high standards.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair.
- Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate other maintenance technicians.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided for work and on-call use).
- Professional, reliable, and service-oriented attitude.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive pay: up to $38–$40/hour, based on experience
On-call bonuses:
- $250 for regular on-call weeks

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, greet prospects, and conduct property tours.
- Adhere to company policies, fair housing laws, core values of Toonen Companies, and tenant-landlord regulations.
- Explain policies, community rules, and lease terms to residents.
- Address resident needs, including service requests and move-out procedures.
- Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Support marketing initiatives to promote the property and attract new residents.
- Help coordinate maintenance requests, vendor services, and unit turnovers.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Assist in managing move-ins and move-outs, ensuring smooth transitions for residents.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, lease agreements, and local housing regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience in leasing and or property management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with property management software (Rent Manager) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation (we pay for mileage).
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and energetic with a constant friendly, positive, and helpful attitude.
Toonen Companies offers competitive wages with a performance bonus potential of 10% per year. Candidates with direct relevant experience in the property management field may start at a pay rate higher than what is posted here. Responsibilities:
- General grounds maintenance & landscaping.
- Maintain landscaping, flower beds, and outdoor common areas.
- Remove snow and ice from walkways, parking lots, and entrances.
- Operate and maintain landscaping and snow removal equipment.
- Work outdoors in all seasons to keep properties clean and safe.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude, strong attendance, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in operating a skid steer, a tool cat, and a mini excavator (preferred).
- Ability to lift more than 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

Seasonal Snow Removal Specialist (As Needed)
Toonen Companies Inc., a regional leader in the development, construction, and management of multi-family apartment communities, is seeking reliable individuals for on-call snow removal services during the winter season. Join our team to help keep local properties safe and accessible during snowy conditions.
Responsibilities Include:
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots using shovels and snow blowers.
- Apply ice melt products as needed.
- Operate machinery such as skid steers and pickup trucks with plows (for qualified candidates).
- Respond promptly to service calls, often on short notice and in adverse weather conditions.
- Maintain equipment and report any issues or damages.
Requirements:
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor work in cold conditions.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Flexible schedule with availability during early morning hours, late nights, and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
Compensation:
- $35 – $40/hr
- Benefits are not included.
