LEASING AGENT/ASSISTANT MANAGER (PART TO FULL-TIME) (Posted 6/23/17)
Toonen Properties is accepting applications for a PART to FULL-TIME LEASING AGENT/ASSISTANT MANAGER for our Harrison/Kaukauna properties. Our ideal candidate will be service oriented, will always have the company’s best interest in mind, and will continuously promote a positive and professional image while being an active and helpful team member. Training will be provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Will handle all aspects of leasing apartments, customer service, and retention of residents from answering the phones and setting up appointments, greeting prospects, touring the apartment community and available units, closing the sale, processing applications, creating and explaining lease documents to be signed by new residents, accurately calculating prorated rent and accepting payments, assisting current residents with their needs, accepting and handling move out notices, carefully explaining laws and policies when questions arise.
  • Will handle many administrative tasks such as keeping Excel spreadsheets and property management software up to date, assisting with renewals and resident retention program, and assisting the property manager with general office tasks.
  • Will handle documentation and follow up of work order requests and service order requests from residents in support of maximizing the efficiency level of the maintenance staff.
  • Must have excellent administrative and computer skills and be able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and common sense.
  • Must maintain a detailed knowledge of the community amenities, Fair Housing laws and company policies, training is provided.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be friendly, courteous and professional in appearance and actions.
  • Must have an up-beat sales personality and strive to maintain optimum occupancy levels of 97% or better.
  • Must be organized, self-motivated and energetic with a constant helpful attitude.
  • Must be detail oriented, accurate, able to follow directions, and learn quickly.
  • Must love to work with people.
  • Must be honest, trustworthy, reliable and work well both independently and in a team setting.
  • Must assist and attend resident events and be able and willing to perform other duties as requested.

Toonen Properties is accepting applications for a full-time, experienced accounts payable/accounting assistant to work out of our corporate office in Green Bay. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Code, post and file all property management and construction invoices
  • Pay all property management and construction vendors with weekly & monthly check runs
  • Verify, code, post and pay monthly multi-card credit card account
  • Administer certificates of insurance and lien waivers
  • Communicate with property managers and vendors on a regular basis
  • Prepare occasional Excel and/or Word documents
  • Process daily mail
  • Assist with answering phone

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years accounts payable processing experience
